These are Minecraft accounts which are migrated to a Mojang account and come in the format of email:password. Whilst you cannot login to the account's email, the account does not have security questions on, allowing you to change the skin and name of the account. This type of account cannot be used with mainstream sniping, although you can still hand-snipe with it.
